Jason Momoa Reveals the Different Ending Aquaman Had in Justice League

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11225″ img_size=”1000×600″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Time for your daily “Snyder Cut” news. Aquaman star Jason Momoa revealed in a recent interview the ending his character had while the movie was still in Snyder’s hands, as opposed to Joss Whedon’s. Which, to reiterate; Snyder had to step away from the project due to a family tragedy.

“In Zack’s cut, we had it where I was with Vulko and Mera and I say that I have to go home, and they say ‘There’s a force coming,’ and that I need to help. And I’m like ‘I’m going home to see my dad,’ and so I get in the back of a pickup truck, pound a bottle of something, and off he goes, the wanderer, you know what I mean? So that was kind of like the end of ‘Justice League’ where I was going – and then we cut to me coming home and run into a submarine and bang oh! Then go see pops and I think he’s just going to get rooted again; I think he’s been gone for so long it’s just him trying to kind of come back to his roots…”

This is an interesting point that Momoa makes, seeing as his movie would have been a direct jump off from Justice League, as opposed to the vague ending we got for him. While people are unhappy with Whedon’s take on the Justice League, Aquaman is looking extremely promising and whatever Justice League did or did not do, it isn’t slowing down the hype for Aquaman, which will premiere in theaters December 21st.
