The long-awaited sequel to Jay and Silent Bob is officially happening, starting filming in February in Louisiana. Both Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes are returning to reprise their roles as the cult classic partners who’ve stared in such films as Jay and Silent Bob, Mall Rats, and Clerks.
While we have our two main players, who knows who else will star in the film. One actor who it seems Smith would more than love to include is Scream Queen herself, Jamie Lee Curtis. In a recent video posted by Smith on Twitter, he publically asks Curtis to come on board and play a role that would require her to simply be in and out in a day.

Smith also cites the reason for never asking Curtis to be a part of his movies was because he thought they were too “low” of a caliber for her:
“But I always thought my projects were beneath someone of your caliber,” he explained. “You were in A Fish Called Wanda, why would you ever want to work with somebody like me?”
“Because you didn’t ask me,” she responded.
“Not yet. Give it time,” he replied.
