From his work on HBO’s Westworld, to the gritty jailhouse drama movie O.G., we cannot get enough of Wright. Not only will Wright be involved in Marvel’s ‘What If?’ series on Disney+, but he may be making his way to the DC Universe.
In a THR exclusive, it’s reported that Wright is in negotiations to play the well-known character Commissioner Gordon for Matt Reeves’s The Batman. With Robert Pattinson announced as Bruce Wayne, we still don’t know who else will be in this new Batman film. Knowing at least one additional casting would be nice, especially if it’s Wright.
Recent adaptations of Gordon were Gary Oldman in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy and J.K. Simmons in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
What do you think about Wright potentially being the new Commissioner Gordon?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
