Jessica Jones is the end of the Marvel Netflix universe. First, though; we have to get through season three. Once upon a time, Jessica Jones was praised for being revolutionary in how a woman’s story is told, who has been through trauma. The second season was a little more disappointing than the first, but I’ll still be watching the third season.
Season two ended with Trish killing Jessica’s uncontrollable and dangerous mother. That tension clearly bleeds into the third season, by the clip below.
The official synopsis for season three is:
“When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down. But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism, and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both.”
Jessica Jones season three hits Netflix on June 14th.
