The Russo Brothers may have completed their run with Marvel [for now], but they are hard-working on other projects. Between Mosul, Cherry, the Extraction Sequel, and the upcoming Hercules film, the Russo Brothers are creating magic wherever they go.
In a new interview, Joe Russo offered an update:
“It is still in development, the script is about to come in a week. We’ve taken a lot of time and care with it. They want to see something really cool that they wanna get lost in it for a decade, so that’s our mission is to provide them with that experience.”
The Russo Brothers have helped in creating what the MCU is now. And they are looking to expand a cinematic universe with their Extraction property. It does make sense that Disney would want them to work on more with the Hercules property.
