John Wick Director Teases A Fourth Movie Might Be Happening

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”22142″ img_size=”696×390″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]John Wick Chapter 3 has not even opened in theaters and we might already have some news about a possible fourth film in the Keanu Reeves franchise. I got a chance to see the movie on Monday and I think its the best one by far, a fourth film would be gladly welcomed by me and I am sure the fans would want one as well. Director Chad Stahelski recently did a AMA on Reddit and of course he was asked if and when we might see the fourth movie. Stahelski said that a fourth film would be entirely up to the fans which means GO SEE THIS MOVIE. A great outing at the box office would for sure prompt Lionsgate/Summit to make another film. Later in the AMA though Chad mentioned the difficulty of making these films and he mentions part 4, now this could be him assuming a fourth film will be difficult to make or perhaps another film is secretly in development already. Check out what Chad said

“1 was difficult because we didn’t understand what we wanted to do, quite,” the director began. “Number 2, we had to map up a whole world we didn’t think of before. 3, how do we expand and get the audience something creative, not just bigger and cooler. Number 4, I’m certain, will be more difficult.”

Nothing official has been announced but if the film opens nicely this weekend, its estimated to take in $35-40M, then we could see them pull the trigger quickly on announcing another one. Keanu has said he would love to do more of these films so as along as he is on board then I think its safe to say this franchise has a future and could even spurn some spin off films. Halle Berry’s Sofia is a total bad ass in John Wick 3 and I would love to see a movie with her if it happens.
