Jon Stewart Will Return to TV For a Multi-Year Deal With Apple TV+

Jon Stewart is returning to television with a multi-year deal with Apple. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stewart will host a new current affairs series for Apple TV+. There’s already a plan to have the series run for many seasons and honestly, I’m here for it. Stewart was the host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central for years and won many awards for it before Trevor Noah took over and Stewart essentially semi-retired from TV. In the meantime, Stewart has done some truly amazing advocacy work.

The show is still untitled, but we already know each episode will be an hour long and follow the “single-subject” per episode formula. Stewart will be the executive producer through his company Busboy Productions. Stewart will be joined by his longtime manager James Dixon, as well as former HBO chief Richard Plepler.

Are you excited for Stewart’s return to TV?
