As the spouse of a Temp Service owner, I have been told many times that the best way to get a job is to first make it clear that you’re interested in doing it. This is apparently what Josh Gad has heard too, although if you ask him, he would just say he was playing around. Sunday, Gad posted a photo of Burgess Meredith’s version of the Penguin with a short message: “Good Knight.”

With the Penguin character being mentioned as a possibility in both the Birds of Prey film and in Matt Reeves film, The Batman, which is expected to begin production sometime this year, it seems unlikely that this is just coincidence. Nor is it the first time that Gad’s name has been connected to the iconic villain. He was not too long ago visiting the DC Comics offices where he posted a picture of himself holding a comic with none other than the Penguin on the cover. Subtle, he is NOT.
Do you think Gad is just “having fun” as he tells it or is he using subliminal messaging to get his desires across? Share your Penguin theories with us at GVNation.
