Along with Kolstad will be Constantin Film, which is partnering with producer Adrian Askarieh of Prime Universe Films for this project. Askarieh has been associated with Cause for about a decade and is a longtime believer in video game adaptations, so it seems like this project has the right people involved.
The four games in this franchise showcase Rico Rodriguez on a high-intensity mission to stop a very lethal mercenary group called The Black Hand. While there hasn’t always been success when it comes to adapting a video game into the live-action genre, Kolstad originated the John Wick franchise and considering how large that has grown, we have no doubt that this film could succeed.
What do you think about Just Cause being adapted into a live-action movie? Let us know!
