While you may currently know Karen Gillan best as her role of Nebula in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, you should watch out for her upcoming projects – such as the action assassin movie, Gunpowder Milkshake. Can we all take a moment to appreciate how epic that name is for a film?
From Studiocanal and The Picture Company, Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado are directing the film, while having also written the script alongside Ehud Lavski. There’s not too much that we know so far about the plot, but we do know this is going to be an all-female cast with Gillan at front and center. The movie is being described as having aspects of Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill and Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver. Which, both movies speak for itself, so to have the two styles merged into one is going to be awesome.
