Kenan Thompson Returns to Nickelodean to Produce ‘All That’ Revival

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”15821″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]All That was like the kid’s version of SNL and every 90s kid watched All That and most likely even wanted to be on all that. The comedic skit show paved the way for many to have their own careers, including SNL’s own Kenan Thompson. Thompson, who had a slew of great skits, such as “Everyday French with Pierre Escargot”. Thompson will now be executive producing the revival on Nickelodeon, which will have a new cast, but will have “callbacks” to the original series.

Thompson commented:

“It means everything to me,” Thompson told Variety. “It was my first job that I ever had. It gave me an opportunity.”

Brian Robbins, president of Nickelodeon and co-creator/executive producer of the original series, also commented on the revival:

“We think there’s a great opportunity to find the next pool of stars,” he shared. “We want to bring the show back in a real fun way. This summer, we are going to bring back a lot of the original cast and the cast through the years, and let them introduce the new cast of All That to the world.” He suggested the program would be “a sort of mash-up of some of the old sketches and a lot of new sketches.”

All my fellow 90s kids, are you excited for the revival? Not only that, but don’t you think it’s a good thing for kids today to have their own version of All That to grow up with?
