Kevin Feige: A Venom/Spider-Man film is up to Sony

This appears to be the day Marvel’s Kevin Feige is discussing…well, just about everything. This includes the possible introductions of their recently acquired Marvel Fox characters, and now Sony’s Venom. This comes to light as fan’s wonder about a future Spider-Man/Venom crossover. CinemaBlend made the inquiry of Feige as the were discussing Spider-Man: Far from Home.

I think probably it’s up to Sony. Sony has both those characters and, has Venom in their world. I don’t know what their plans are for another Venom or if they’re doing that. But it seems likely at some point.

His answer makes sense seeing how Sony actually has control of both characters. Marvel arranged a deal in 2015 to allow them to use Spider-Man starting with Captain America: Civil War. So it appears the ball is in Sony’s court. However, if money sets the tone, you can bet it will happen at some point. Would you like to see a Venom/Spider-Man film? Other than the one you saw in Spider-Man 3? Share your hopes with us at GVNation.
