While we all, most likely; thought that Far From Home would be the start of Phase Four, Kevin Feige recently revealed that it is actually the end of Phase Three. In Shanghai, Feige stated:
“It’s the end of the third phase. You’re the first person I’ve told that to.”
Far From Home will follow Peter Parker as he and his classmates travel to Europe; along the way, Parker will meet up with Nick Fury and Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio. While Mysterio is typically a villain, he is being marketed as a “good guy” in the film; although, the fan theory is that this is all master manipulation by the sorcerer. Spider-Man: Far From Home comes to theaters on July 2nd and Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 26th.
