Disney’s upcoming service will have content for everyone to enjoy, with Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian being one of the most anticipated from the original content. On top of Star Wars related shows, Disney+ will also feature Marvel projects, such as the Loki and Scarlet Witch centered series.
Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige; expressed excitement for Disney+:
“Disney+ is, yes,” Feige said on Playback with Kris Tapley. “Which is another exciting avenue and another exciting thing about being at this place at this time and goes back to the amount of characters we have and the amount of stories we could tell.”
On top of the previously mentioned shows, there will also be a Rocket and Groot series set to debut in 2019 at some time. This streaming service gives Marvel the opportunity to put out more content than just the three movies per year, which Feige is very excited about.
