Kevin Feige States No MCU Character is Invulnerable

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”12404″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, when Nick Fury and Maria Hill began to disappear during the post-credits scene; Fury had a moment to send a distress signal and the theater collectively freaked out when Captain Marvel’s insignia popped up on what looked like a beeper. Not only did this tease the upcoming solo film, but the fact that Carol Danvers was going to step in and defeat Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. With her introduction, Kevin Feige has stated in the past that the MCU’s most powerful hero was being brought in.

Feige delved deeper into this when speaking with Screen Rant:

“Captain Marvel’s nearly omnipotent […] How do you keep the character grounded and vulnerable in future installments as her power grows? I think, as with some of the other characters you’ve mentioned, there are no characters — certainly no Marvel characters — that are invulnerable and that are immortal. They can all be killed at some point as Loki says to Thor in Avengers 1. So we may see that at some point, introduce that at some point.”

Needless to say, I’m excited for the upcoming Captain Marvel movie on March 8th and for her involvement in Endgame on April 26th. Are you looking forward to both? Let us know!
