Spoilers for those who haven’t seen Venom: Let There Be Carnage
Let me say again, this article touches upon the post credit scene for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. So, if you haven’t seen the sequel to 2018’s Venom, expect spoilers.
If you saw Venom: Let There Be Carnage, then you know that the post-credit scene entailed Eddie Brock/Venom watching the news on TV after a seemingly reality-altering event occured (an event that I’m pretty sure was Doctor Strange messing with reality – as we saw in the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer). In that news report, Venom watches Tom Holland’s Spider-Man appear, which essentially ties the MCU and Sony Marvel universe together.
Marvel Studios head Kevin Fridge finally talks about that huge moment:
“There was a lot of coordination — and if you don’t know all the coordination yet, I’m not going to be the one to tell you — but yes, between Sony and Marvel and the Venom team and the No Way Home team… We worked together on it.”
Feige continued:
“I don’t want to talk about rumors or speculation on what could happen or couldn’t happen as it relates to characters Marvel Studios hasn’t brought to the screen yet, but I will say what I’ve always said having been at Marvel Studios for 20 years, I wouldn’t dismiss anything. I wouldn’t rule anything out.”
What did you think of Venom: Let There Be Carnage? Were you happy to see Holland pop up as Peter Parker in that post-credit scene?
