On the red carpet last night, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spoke about the impact that such a film as Black Panther has – considering that Marvel had never been invited to the Golden Globes until Black Panther became Marvel’s first ever Golden Globes first ever nomination for Best Picture.

In regards to Black Panther:

“The most important victory we’ve ever had.”

Feige also spoke about how the title “endgame” was planned since before Avengers: Endgame had been developed. Despite Joe Russo denying that Doctor Strange’s comment about being in the “endgame” was a hint towards the fourth Avengers’ title, Feige confirmed that this was indeed the case.

“Being able to generate excitement without giving away any of the many, many, many secrets would be ideal.”

Despite Feige needing to be closed lipped about his upcoming projects such s Endgame and Captain Marvel, Feige confirmed he’d love to speak with Adam McKay about a long-time rumored silver surfer movie. And for those wondering about the fate of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 after director James Gunn was fired, Feige confirmed that the studios have not given up on a third GotG installment.

“Guardians will happen — when, where, or how… [that’s] for another time.”
