Kevin Feige to Receive The Producers Guild of America Award

Kevin Feige is a huge name for anyone who loves the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The President of Marvel Studios, we owe so much of the MCU to him. And The Producers Guild of America believes so as well, as they will be presenting him with the 2019 David O. Selznick Achievement Award. This is a great sign of recognition for a man who has led the MCU since 2007 and brought this whole world to what we know it to be.

“To join so many of my heroes and mentors in receiving the David O. Selznick Award is one of the most meaningful experiences of my career, and I’m truly thankful to my colleagues in the Producers Guild of America for this recognition,” said Feige. “I want to also thank my Marvel Studios family, who have been with me every step of the way and without whom I would never have had this amazing journey.”

To keep up with current MCU films, I’m sure you’ve all seen such recent hits as Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Coming up, we have Captain Marvel, which will be an introductory story set in the 90s that will see the return of Nick Fury, Agent Coulson, and Ronan. After that, on May 3rd, we have Avengers 4, which has yet to release a title, but that promises to throw us all on an even crazier ride than Avengers: Infinity War.

Congratulations, Kevin!
