Many have began to question whether Hollywood has any original ideas left. Well this subject will not appease those debates. Deadline is reporting that Kevin Hart is looking into the possibility of remaking Bill Murray’s classic Scrooged.
Normally I try to take the high road on these ideas as I await what actually develops. However, I would be totally derelict in my duties if I said anything but NOOOOOO!!! Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Kevin Hart but this is one film that needs no remake. The next thing they will say is they will be redoing Groundhog’s Day. Just STOP!
To be fair, this is in the early development stages and they haven’t even selected someone to write a script. Which means it’s not too late. Kevin…buddy…do something else…anything else. But leave Scrooged alone.
Do you feel that Scrooged should receive a remake and Kevin Hart is just the guy to do it? Share your thoughts about this idea with GVNation.
