When army commando Amrit (Lakshya) finds out his true love Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by the ruthless Fani (Raghav Juyal) begin to terrorize innocent passengers on his train, Amrit takes them on himself in a death-defying kill-spree to save those around him — turning what should have been a typical commute into an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride.

Video Quality
Kill makes a strong showing with its 2160p/SDR presentation in 2.39:1 on this 4K UHD Blu-Ray disc. One of the most unconventional aspects of this release will be the decision to release the film on 4K UHD Blu-Ray without High Dynamic Range. It is not an absolute requirement for the format, but a brand-new movie seldom lacks HDR. That being said, the color palette still gets a slight refinement in nuance with the film presented in its native 4K. Hues are a tick more natural to their intended appearance of this heightened world.
This presentation boasts stellar black levels that are incredibly deep and detailed with digital noise avoided on screen. There are numerous shots of shadowy spaces that avoid signs of crush. Highlights likewise stand firm with no trace of blooming. This transfer shows a notable amount of detail in even the most subtle aspects of the production design and clothing. Skin tones look natural throughout and show a significant amount of facial detail. The gains in accuracy and clarity are apparent in the colors, the textures of the outfits, and the goopy nature of the gory makeup effects. This is not an average 4K UHD presentation, but it succeeds for what it is.
Audio Quality
This disc comes equipped with a memorably dynamic Dolby Atmos presentation in the original Hindi that fully immerses you in this world. The mix here is a powerhouse with full engagement of all the channels, which makes this track a spectacular treat for fans of the film. Sounds are precisely rendered with pinpoint directionality from the more kinetic scenes to the few moments of calm. The low end is engaged particularly well with a knockout experience throughout. The score brings a monstrous energy that amplifies the breathless violence. Elements of this track are truly enveloping thanks to the utilization of the height channels. This track rarely lets up in the best way. The film is presented with English subtitles burned in along with optional English SDH and Spanish subtitles in addition to this.
Special Features
This release comes with an optional sleek new SteelBook exclusively at Amazon that is quite fetching in person. The SteelBook features a removable clear slipcase displaying a train car door with a bloody handprint, and the rear features a bloody fire extinguisher. The interior sports an animated depiction of the main character against the antagonists. Photos of the SteelBook can be found at the bottom of this review.

Final Thoughts
Kill is one of the most deliriously fun movies of the year with an onslaught of violence you will not soon forget. While this movie provides a canvas of violence that is sure to satisfy action fans, it also hits emotionally when it needs to in order to avoid complete mindlessness. There is a finesse to the execution that simply elevates everything that is happening. It is not a terribly complicated movie, but few movies know how to do what Kill is doing so well. Lionsgate Home Entertainment has released a 4K UHD Blu-Ray that sports a great A/V presentation and a decent array of special features. If you like gloriously violent action films, give this one a chance. Recommended
Kill is currently available to purchase on 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital.
