Krypton fans were shocked when SYFY announced that they were canceling the popular series, as well as axing a spinoff Lobo series. While the series are looking for a new home, executive producer Cameron Welsh wanted to give fans what they could have seen in season three. In a released post on Twitter, Welsh gives fans a taste of what could have been. Such has Krypton having been moved to the present day as opposed to the first two seasons, which were in the distant past. In this tease, it seems that Jor-El would have been a godlike force just as Brainiac had predicted.
Take a look below!
I might get into trouble for this… But here’s the teaser for what would have been the first episode of season 3 that @LukeKalteux and I cooked up… https://t.co/Rdqx9sUDVa pic.twitter.com/s5fsD3W8FF

According to Comicbook, Warner Bros. is still developing a Lobo series for another platform. What about Krypton? While the first season is available on the DC Universe app, there’s not been any news regarding is DC Universe will pick up the series. After what happened with Swamp Thing, who knows if DC Universe is looking to develop any more series.
What do you think of the third season that could have been?
