Lady Sif and Blindspot’s Jaimie Alexander Talks About Forgetting Her Own Strength

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14621″ img_size=”940×529″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Jaimie Alexander is quickly becoming a #WomanCrush for me, as she recently appeared on “Today” to talk about her love of fitness, forgetting her own strength, and an embarrassing moment between her and her beau.

Alexander captured many of our hearts as Lady Sif in the Thor franchise and while she didn’t appear in Ragnarök or Avengers: Infinity War, there are rumors floating around that she may have her own mini-series on the upcoming Disney+ platform. Alexander is also main lead in the TV drama series Blindspot, which has her training hard. So hard, that she forgets her own strength, which she described an incident with boyfriend Tom Pelphrey (Iron Fist’s Ward Meachum) where her hard training was a disadvantage.

“One time, I don’t know what we were doing, but I kinda punched him in the ribs to be funny, and then I was like, (worried),” she grimaced. “It was hard, and he kinda looked at me and I’m like, ‘Sorry!'”

“He’s a tough guy though, he does over 300 push ups every day, all these pull ups. He’s very strong. He’s great for me in that sense,” she said, adding, “He’s the sweetest.”

While this may have made for an embarrassing moment for them, Alexander’s strength will certainly come in handy for a Lady Sif mini-series that we all hope to get, as she was sorely missed in Ragnarök and Infinity War. As for Pelphrey, I have said it once (probably many times), but it is a shame that we will not get a third season of Iron Fist where Pelphrey’s physicality can be utilized. Hopefully, someone will cast him properly and who knows, maybe Pelphrey and Alexander can play a bad-ass power couple in a movie in the future.
