This is a missing person report. While there have been reports of her possible demise. I refuse to believe it. That person is the Lady Sif. She was Thor’s lady in Asgard before Jane Foster came around. And she was loyal to her man, even begging Hela to spare him when she came to take the son of Odin. Her desperate pleas touched even Hela’s ice heart so she spared him…just this once.
I have been a fan of the Lady Sif back when Jack Kirby first drew the Mighty Thor and even more so when John Buscema did the artwork. That man could draw a pretty woman. Yes, this is the Lady Sif, preparing to marry someone NOT named Thor, his half-brother Loki. Long story: Find Thor #193 for all the scoop.
Since then, we have seen the Lady Sif in Thor, and Thor: the Dark World. She also has been seen in two episodes of Marvel’s Agents of Shield but was MIA in Thor Ragnarok and in The Avengers: Infinity War. So where did the Lady Sif go?
Some brigands with the name of Russo dared to intimate that the Lady Sif was no more. Reduced to ashes by the cataclysmic Thanos SNAP! Lies all lies! I’ll need more proof than just THEIR word for it to be true. So the hunt remains: Has anyone seen this woman: Soon to be seen on milk cartons near you.
