We are ecstatic that Christopher Meloni is reprising his role as Elliot Stabler in a Law & Order spinoff series. While there’s no word on when production will begin on the show, we already know that writer Craig Gore has been fired by Dick Wolf himself. This decision comes after Gore made very controversial comments on Facebook in regards to looters and the curfew put in place in Los Angeles.
Wolf stated:
“I will not tolerate this conduct, especially during our hour of national grief. I am terminating Craig Gore immediately,”
This decision came from Gore’s post which included him holding a weapon and the caption “curfew…”; another post included Gore threatening to “light motherf*ckers up who are trying to f*ck with my property”.
While Fore claimed to be the “co-executive producer” of Law & Order: Organized Crime, Christopher Meloni stated on social media that he has “no idea who this person is or what they do”. In the same post, Meloni confirmed that Matt Olmstead is the showrunner for his upcoming series.
Needless to say, even though these are fictional cop shows; any sort of threatening remarks in regards to the protests happening worldwide will not be tolerated.
