Marvel has a few memorable villains. Loki, Killmonger, Thanos, and Ronan. Lee Pace, best known for his role in the Hobbit movies; played the main antagonist in the first Guardians of the Galaxy. As a villain seeking revenge, he made quite the statement by betraying Thanos himself halfway through the movie. He also succeeded in almost successfully destroying Xander.
Lee Pace will be reprising his role in Captain Marvel, as the movie takes place as a prequel to current events, which would mean Ronan is alive. This will also make sense considering Ronan is part of a race called the Kree and Carol Danvers has association with this race.
In a recent social media post, Pace helped promote the upcoming superhero film while on vacation. While not saying a word about it, he is clearly pushing Captain Marvel swag – making all of us excited for the upcoming film.
