Lessons learned from “Ant-Man and the Wasp”

With the recent release Ant Man and the Wasp, we learned a few things. Ok, I learned a few things…picky, picky! (If you haven’t seen it yet, turn away now. Go on. Shoo!) Number one, we learn where Scott Lang was during the whole Infinity War saga. He was in house arrest for his involvement in the whole “Civil War” “Sokovia Accords” debacle in Germany. We also found out he is a great dad who will go out of his way to entertain his little girl. Who knew cardboard could make your house so much fun…unless your foot with the ankle monitor goes through the fence. By the way, doesn’t the FBI have anything better to do than to hover over Scott in the off chance he might step a toe outside his property? Just sayin! We also found out that Hank Pym and his daughter Hope can hold a grudge. Yeah, he kinda of exposed them and the suit and he apparently lost the suit to the government (but he didn’t). But other than that, what’s the big deal?

Side note#1: I love the segments where Luis (Michael Pena) explains a situation and everyone in the flashback would lip sync to his narrative. It reminds me (as it probably is supposed to) of Comedy Central’s: “Drunk History.” We now go back to our regularly scheduled blog.

Where was I before I was so rudely interrupted? Oh yes, the most important thing we learned was (last chance for those who didn’t listen to me in the beginning. Cover your eyes!) NEVER and I do mean NEVER, go into the Quantum Realm without making sure you have a personal backup apparatus to get you back out of it. This is just in case the people who were supposed to help you don’t “snap” out of it. Very Important!

Side note#2: We took our Grandson George to see this movie. After it was over, people were getting up to leave and George asked, “Why are WE waiting around?” “This is a Marvel movie, George. You have to wait to see the end credit tease.” So when the time came and he saw what happened, we went “Oh, NO!” And he said, “Darn that Thanos!” We couldn’t disagree.
