Once again, the best in digital art come together for their premier event, the 2024 LightBox Expo. Founded by Bobby Chiu and Jim Demonakos, the LightBox Expo highlights and celebrates the creative digital artists who bring many of your favorite films and television shows to life. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring over 1,000 participants and numerous opportunities to learn from the top professionals in the industry.

Connecting to Fellow Artists and Companies
One of the other benefits of the Expo is to connect fellow graphic artists and companies to get their work out there. It is one of the founding principles of LightBox Expo to help upcoming digital artists to bring their talents to the forefront. Among those numerous panels and exciting demonstrations will be the 2024 Concept Art Awards. This event serves as a platform to honor and celebrate the exceptional talents and accomplishments of artists in the realms of film, gaming, and animation. It highlights the innovative creators whose visionary artistry animates our beloved stories and characters, demonstrating the richness, variety, and ingenuity of concept art. A panel of industry specialists judges the Concept Art Awards, acknowledging outstanding work in character, creature, vehicle/prop, environment, keyframe, color keys, and visual development.
