The Hollywood Reporter got an exclusive report about a live action Lilo and Stich remake. The studio has hired Mike Van to write the script and Dan Lin/Jonathan Eirich (they’re also producing the live action Aladdin) are producing this live action remake. If you have not seen the 2002 version of Lilo and Stich I highly recommend it to you. It is one of the better Disney films out their and there is a lot of good Disney films.
Before the live-action Jungle Book film came out I was highly skeptical about live action Disney films, but now with recent films like: Jungle Book, Christopher Robin, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella because of these films I get excited hearing about Lion King, Aladdin, Mulan, Dumbo and even Lady and the Tramp being announced.
The one thing that I am curious about is it going to be released in theaters or just for the Disney streaming service. I wouldn’t mind getting like a 15 minute sneak peak for the streaming service before they release it in theaters. This way Disney can get more subscribers that want the sneak peak and it will get a lot of the fans head to the theaters.
Hearing all these live action films being released. Do they excite you? Do you like the resent live action films? Please comment your thoughts down below.
