[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”10871″ img_size=”900×474″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]When the trailer for the upcoming Lion King movie came out, we as a collective group of 90s kids all sat in awe over the beauty of this rendition of a beloved Disney classic. With gorgeous animation and the familiar story, we’re ready for 2019. Among those who have joined together to voice the characters is comedian Amy Sedaris. Best known for her role in the show Strangers with Candy, Sedaris will be playing the voice of a new character created specifically for the remake of the 1994 animated film.
Lion King is directed by Iron Man alum Jon Favreau and stars Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones returns as Mufasa, Billy Eichner as Timon, and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa. John Oliver joins as Zazu, while Beyonce is voicing Nala, as well as singing some original songs.
Lion King hits theaters July 19, 2019 and I’m willing to bet that it becomes one of the highest grossing films to be released next year.
