Looks like Lucifer is going to get another season. TVLine reports that both producers of the show and Netflix are in talks to bring the Devil himself back for a sixth season. The fourth season of Lucifer was one of the highest rated streaming shows last year and combined with Tom Ellis’ cameo appearance on CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths getting a huge response, it is no wonder that Netflix wants to see the show return.
The appearance on CW’s crossover seems to have gained new viewers and excitement for the series that was once thought dead after it was cancelled by FOX. Fans rallied after the news broke and Netflix came in to save the show.
Perhaps we might see more of Matt Ryan’s Constantine on the show as well. Season 5 seems to be bigger and better than ever with Dennis Haysbert coming on to play God.
