[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”27270″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The last and final season of Madam Secretary has started production. Season six will see the return of Tea Leoniâs Elizabeth McCord and her political journey. She will be making a run for the White House as the president of the United States the next time we see her. Unlike the previous five seasons, season six will only have ten episodes. While this is virtually half of any other season, it means that a tighter storytelling method will be practiced and considering what is at stake, I believe that ten will be enough.
Co-creator Barbara Hall spoke to what we should expect during Elizabeth McCordâs run for president:
“We’ve always been about pulling back the curtain on the State Department and showing the process of diplomacy. So, this is going to be pulling back the curtain on a campaign and everything that that involves.”
Returning for the final season will be Tim Daly, Sara Ramirez, Keith Carradine, Sebastian Arecelus, Patina Miller, and Geoffrey Arend. Erich Bergen, Katherine Herzer, Wallis Currie-Wood, Evan Roae, and Ċ½eljko Ivanek.
Madam Secretary will return Sunday, October 6th of this year. How do you feel about Madam Secretary ending?
