Magnolia To Release Critically-Adored Documentary ‘Collective’ On DVD & Digital This February

Magnolia Home Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing the critically acclaimed documentary Collective on Digital and DVD on February 23, 2021. The timely film from director Alexander Nanau’s (Toto and His Sisters) reveals fraud and corruption in the Romanian government following a fatal fire in a Bucharest night club. The film is considered to be one of the frontrunners in the Oscar race for Best Documentary Feature.

Synopsis: After an explosive fire claimed the lives of 27 people at Colectiv Nightclub in Bucharest, Romania, officials reassure the public that surviving victims will receive care in facilities that are better than Germany’s state-of-the-art trauma centers. As the casualty count rises weeks later, intrepid reporters at the Sports Gazette begin to investigate the reason behind the increased number of deaths.
