With the little time that has elapsed since Game of Thrones, it is only natural that some comparisons might be made between the two characters. In a recent interview with Inverse, Williams talked about the two characters and the inevitable who would beat who scenario.
Arya in Season 1 was very much like Cammie; their naivety and the way they question the world is something that makes them endearing. But the way the harsh world really affected Arya, it took its toll and made her a darker person. As for Cammie, she has changed in the face of fear and the face of danger, she’s got a very positive attitude and a spirit in her to overcome situations. That’s how I would say they’re different. If my characters had to meet, I think Cammie might take the cake. I think the technology she’s armed herself, Arya has never seen before. I think Cammie would take it.
It doesn’t take a lot of thought to believe that current weapons would put Arya with her medieval style blades at a disadvantage. However, perhaps Cammie might be surprised when the person next to her is actually Arya in disguise and kills her without her even knowing what happened. Of course, I’m an Arya fan. I’m biased as hell. For those who have watched the gen:LOCK series, have you enjoyed it so far? As far as the proposed Cammie/Arya fight, who you got?
