Margot Robbie Doesn’t Know What WB Will Do Next But She’s Interested in Gotham City Sirens

Birds of Prey seems to be doing really well. If DC’s Birds of Prey continues to do well, especially when it comes out to the public; does this mean we can get more girl team-up films? Specifically – Gotham City Sirens. Previously, Suicide Squad’s director David Ayer was meant to helm the project that would have Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn team up with Catwoman and Poison Ivy. Those plans fell flat and Birds of Prey was done. Could it be back on though?

Robbie says that she would be interested in a Gotham City Sirens movie and since she’s the woman who helped get Birds of Prey done, maybe she could do the same for Gotham City Sirens?

Granted, Robbie also admitted that she didn’t know:

“I don’t know where the studios stand on what they want to do next.”

Technically, Gotham City Sirens wouldn’t necessarily be a sequel to Birds of Prey. It could be a loose spinoff, similar to how BoP is a spinoff of 2016’s Suicide Squad. There isn’t a lot of continuity other than Robbie playing the same character; but, since Birds of Prey seems to be working and Gunn’s vision for The Suicide Squad is getting a lot of hype, keep doing what you’re doing, DC [I guess?].

Would you want to see a Gotham City Sirens film?
