With a career that started in 1910 and lasted all the way up to the 1980s. Marlene starred in such films as Morocco, Shanghai Express and Desire. She is also known for her role as Lola-Lola in the 1930 film, The Blue Angel.  That role brought her international fame and got her a contract with Paramount Pictures.

We have learned that Universal Pictures is developing a film about the actress which will be based off the 1992 biography from her daughter, Maria Riva.
