Marvel Entertainment Announces Lineup for NYCC 2019

Marvel Entertainment will return with a massive line-up of panels from Marvel Comics, Marvel Games, Marvel New Media, and Marvel Television. Below you will see the full schedule of panels to look out for. A full schedule of additional signings and events will be coming in the next few weeks.

THURSDAY, October 3rd

Making Comics the Marvel Way

1:30 – 2:30 PM ET, Room 1A24

Talent Scout Rickey Purdin and co. will take the audience in a behind-the-scenes adventure to show you how a Marvel comic is made. You will be able to learn every aspect of the production that includes writing, inking, coloring, editing, and more. Creators will be on-hand to offer personal insights.

Spider-Man Spectacular: A This Week In Marvel Special Event

2:45 – 3:45 PM ET, Room 1A24

Spider-Man 2099 returns! You will join This Week in Marvel cohosts Ryan Penagos and Lorraine Cink as they explore everything and anything Spider-Man. Writers Saladin Ahmed, Seanan McGuire, and Leah Williams will be there. As well as news, reveals, swag, and more!

FRIDAY, October 4th

Marvel: Cup O’Joe

1:30 – 2:30 PM ET, Room 1A06

Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada and special guests will look back at the decades of Marvel history and share their personal experiences regarding some of the defining moments in the Marvel Universe. This is an intimate behind-the-scenes look at your favorite Marvel characters and stories. Those who attend will receive an exclusive variant comic that will be announced.

Marvel Games Panel

3:00 PM – 4:30 PM ET, Madison Square Garden

The latest and greatest from Marvel Games is here. Get ready to see new content from Marvel’s Iron Man VR and Marvel’s Avengers. Many unannounced surprises and panel exclusives will be features. Along with hosts Angelique Roche and Josh Saleh, who are joined by Bill Rosemann and other special guests!

MARVEL COMICS: Next Big Thing

4:00 – 5:00 PM ET, Room 1A06

What’s next for the Marvel Universe? EIC C.B. Cebulski, Donny Cates, Al Ewing, and Dan Slott will tell you! They will break down what events we should expect this year.

Marvel’s Runaways

5:30 – 7:00 PM ET, Madison Square Garden

Marvel’s Runaways return at Madison Square Garden for a panel that you will not want to miss. You will be the first to experience the premiere episode of season three. Stars and the creative forces behind Marvel’s Runaways will be there. After the screening, Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb will discuss what you can’t miss in season three with the cast and executive producers. You can expect all of season three to drop on Friday, December 13th on Hulu.

SATURDAY, October 5th

MARVEL COMICS: Marvel Fanfare with C.B. Cebulski

2:15 – 3:15 PM ET, Room 1A06

Get to meet Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, as well as Chris Claremont. The two will talk about everything and anything involving Marvel Comics. Explore who their favorite childhood characters were and who they adore today. Take a look at who Chris’s dream team for X-Men is. There will be a Q&A and more! Also, attendees will receive an exclusive Absolute Carnage: Miles Morales #2 cover that features a classified image that won’t be available anywhere else.

Marvel’s Hero Project

3:30 – 4:30 PM ET, Room 1A06

Marvel’s Hero Project is a brand-new, inspiring and unscripted series that explores real-life heroes. Young individuals who make a difference in their own communities will be celebrated during Marvel’s Hero Project. This project showcases that you don’t need to be a super soldier or have powers to be a hero. At the panel, you will join some of the creative team and see the first screening of the first episode, as well as a Q&A. Marvel’s Hero Project premieres on Disney+ on November 12, 2019.

MARVEL COMICS: X-Men – Dawn of X

5:00 – 6:00 PM ET, Main Stage

Get ready for the Dawn of X. EIC C.B. Cebulski, Sr. Editor Jordan White, and Ed Brisson, Tini Howard, and Benjamin Percy take NYCC’s Main Stage to talk about the new status quo for the X-Men. You will be the first to hear some exciting announcements in regards to the Children of the Atom. Make sure you stay until the end to receive an exclusive variant cover version of Powers of X #5, which features an amazing Dawn of X-inspired image by Arthur Adams.

SUNDAY, October 6th

Women of Marvel (Including the World Premiere Screening of Marvel Rising: Operation Shuri)
