Marvel Releases 5 Free Digital ‘Black Panther’ Comics To Coincide With Black History Month

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14873″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Marvel continues to step up their game to honor their first Best Picture Academy Award nomination of Black Panther, and to recognize Black History Month. Not only have they arranged for a week of free screenings of Black Panther at AMC Theaters, but they have also released 5 digital Black Panther comics to further commemorate the occasion.

These include: 2005’s Black Panther No. 1 by Reginald Hudlin and John Romita Jr.; 2016’s Black Panther: World of Wakanda No. 1 by Ta-Nehisi Coates, Roxane Gay, Yona Harvey, Alitha E. Martinez and Afua Richardson; 2017’s Marvel’s Black Panther Prelude No. 1 by Will Corona Pilgrim and Annapaola Martello; 2018’s Black Panther No. 1 by Coates and Daniel Acuna as well as 2018’s Shuri No. 1 by Nnedi Okorafor and Leonardo Romero. Some of these reflect the character’s past while some of them mirror its present in the Marvel Universe.

These will be available starting Today and going until Midnight on February 10th. You will find them via their own web store for free by using the redeem code “FOREVER.”
