Yesterday PlayStation announced that only gamers playing Marvel’s Avengers will be able to add Spider-Man to their inventory. It’s also been revealed by Crystal Dynamics that more exclusive advantages are coming to the PlayStation version of the game when it catapults next month.
Today came the announcement from Crystal Dynamics on the PlayStation Blog that Community Challenges will be a new feature. This feature will be across the board on all versions of the game. Avengers player base will have goals they need to achieve to unlock rewards. All the details aren’t out there yet, the studio is holding some of that back. What the post on the blog did say is that it will new Community Challenge will have different goals for each month, and the barrier of entry won’t be to difficult to pitch in.
What we do know is that PlayStation will have precise versions to play that Xbox, Stadis or PC won’t see. Not only are gamers getting early access to the beta version this week and Spider-Man, PlayStation also has exclusives for each hero in the game. Each one will have Legendary and Epic outfits, emotes, and takedowns. Along with that that will have Epic outfits not to mention Legendary ones too. These exclusives will be for 30 days and included the ability to perform under certain circumstances. All exclusives spread out over the six launches for the heroes and after the launches too.
If that’s not enough subscribers to PlayStation Plus will also receive a Ms. Marvel free bundle and a bundle for post-launch heroes too! In the post-launch bundles gamers will get a nameplate, a 100 credits and a rare outfit. The recently announced Hawkeye will be the first of the release.
Look for Marvel’s Avengers to launch September 4th across all platforms. Sometime at later date PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will get a next generation version. Free upgrades will then go carrying forward. Have fun gamers and let us know how you like the new add on’s when they are released.

Mamma, Mimi, Michele, call out any one of those names and I will answer. There are several hats on my shelf. My passions are photography, being outside, movies, tv, pop culture and anything haunted or spooky. People are my other interest, I love meeting new people and socializing. When I lived in Savannah GA I worked as a tour guide both haunted and historical tours. I met people from all over the world, that was the best part of the job. All of this I can write about too, that’s the beauty of being a writer.
