With so many Marvel films in the books, most fans know that there is a reason to hang around during the post movie credits. Ever since Iron Man, Marvel has been treating fans with previews of what’s on the horizon for the MCU in the form of these credit scenes. Recently, Marvel Head Kevin Feige was honored at the 2018 Britannia Awards, where he was recognized for his contributions to entertainment. During his acceptance speech, he addressed how their use of the post-credit scene had a dual purpose.
Movies bring people together, but they also bring people together behind the scenes. At Marvel Studios, we’ve been putting a scene after the end credits in all of our films since the very beginning. The fans love it, it’s a tease of something to come But the real bonus is that the audience is going to sit there and look at all the names of the hundreds of thousands of people who work so hard to bring these movies to life. That really inspired me as a kid, to see all those names and I hope it inspires people today.
So when you’re sitting through the movie credits to see what Marvel has in store for you in their next cinematic release, take the time to read the names of all the creative geniuses who played a part in bringing your favorite heroes to life. Do you generally wait for the post-credit scenes in a Marvel film? If so, which ones were the most memorable? Share your thoughts, post credit of course, with us at GVNation.
