Marvel’s Kevin Feige Talks About Bringing Nova into The MCU

Can we expect Nova any time soon? Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige sat down in an interview recently to talk about Richard Rider and Sam Alexander. Feige was asked if Nova will be either Richard or the younger version Sam. To which Feige responded, “Well, yes and yes“.

Feige continued:

“Timing is relative, right? I think I’d been talking about Doctor Strange eight years before that movie came out. So, ‘immediate potential’ is relative. But clearly, we are not shying away from the cosmic end of storytelling right in the sweet spot of the Nova Corps and Nova himself.”

Nova was meant to appear in the opening scene for Avengers: Infinity War before being cut. He was also meant to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy, but that was cut as well. We got out first taste of MCU goodness with WandaVision just coming out and we’re supposed to be getting films like Black Widow, The Eternals, and Spider-Man 3 this year. Unfortunately, with the COVID-19 pandemic still very much a thing, who knows if these movies will keep their dates. All we have to do is be patient.

Do you want to see Nova in the MCU? If so, which version?
