Wow, August is already here?!?! With it comes the Dogs Day’s of Summer and Disney+ is celebrating the season by honoring our pups by bringing new dog-centric series and classic animal films out of the basement. Loki is over but not to fret MCU fans What If… is going to hold us over these long hot days that are left of summer.
Loki season 1 from Marvel rocked Disney+ these past two months. The MCU is still bringing us more and I am so excited about this. What If is the latest and different from the previous series in that it will be animated. Taking a cue from Star Wars: The Bad Batch, this will be MCU’s first animated spinoff. What makes us look forward to this series is that it will be voiced by our very favorite actors who appear on the big screen: Chris Evans will be Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. voices Iron Man, Samuel Jackson as Nicky Fury and the list goes on. Not to miss in this series are the final performances recorded by the late Chadwick Boseman, who reprised his character of Black Panther.
Dogs! Dog! Dogs! Dogs are streaming on Disney+ this month. Turner and Hooch will have all-new episodes for the month. Also with new episodes is everyone one’s favorite dog trainer Cesar Millan with, Better Human Better Dog. For movies, we get both Beverly Hills Chihuahua sequels coming for the first time this August. Not to miss at the end of the month is, Underdog. But what many of us are waiting for is Cruella, which moves from Premier Access to regular streaming.
For all the family viewing Monster’s at Work will have all-new episodes in August. If you haven’t checked it out you should. The show has all new characters plus our favorites Mike and Sully. Later in the month be sure to watch, Disney’s and National Geographic Growing Up Animal, a new series premiering Aug. 20. Over the course of six episodes, the show will follow a different animal and its mother, showing how baby animals grow up in the wild. Oh that’s going to be good.
