Matt Reeves has spoken yet again! In a social media post, as he has with all of his casting decisions; Reeves has announced that John Turturro will play Carmine Falcone in The Batman. Turturro joins the likes of Robert Pattinson, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis, and possibly Collin Farrell.

Also known as ‘The Roman’, Carmine Falcone was created by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. We have often seen this villain as a common adversary of Batman’s and considering the other villains that have already been cast, Pattinson’s Batman has a lot to contend with.
Turturro has been in many projects throughout the years and while some may not have immediately picked him out for this role, Reeves’ selection has been incredibly impressive. What do you think about this casting?
