[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”23257″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Movement on Matt Reeves The Batman is heating up as the status for the film has changed from Script to Pre-Production according to a new update from IMDb. In the pre-production stage finalizing preparations for production go into effect and more cast and crew hires are expected during this time. This is terrific news as the script has been in touch up phase for some time now and while changes to the script can continue, this is a sign that they have the basic layout for the movie and they are now prepping to begin production which has been reported by us to start around March or April of 2020.

WB has cast Robert Pattinson as Batman but have yet to name any other actors or actresses. We know little about the movie as well other than it will focus on a younger Batman and we will see him utilizing his detective skills much more. The film is set to boast multilple villians from Penguin to Catwoman and even the Riddler. There are other villains rumored including Two-Face and Firefly.

DC has decided to skip Hall H this year at Comic Con but there could still be some casting surprises in store very soon now that pre-production is a go. Matt Reeves has brought on production designer James Chinlund and it is rumored that Michael Giacchino will compse the score for the film.
