Halloween 2018 was well-received and as a result, we’re getting a sequel. Halloween Kills is the name of the upcoming Halloween film and according to David Gordon, it’s “nasty”.
The Blumhouse director says that the upcoming film might be the “nastiest” Halloween movie ever. In addition, the actor/stuntman James Jude Courtney (who plays Michael Myers) says that the new movie is Halloween 2018 “on speed”. Here’s his quote:
“We have to make the natural progression from 1978 to 2018 to Halloween Kills – the ante has be upped. The ticking bomb has to be more intense. Otherwise, we’re just doing what we’ve done before. We pumped up the volume on this one. We’ve progressed late into the night, and now that everybody realizes what the stakes are…it’s reaching a head. It’s [HALLOWEEN 2018] on speed.”
Halloween Kills will see Jamie Lee Curtis return as Laure Strode and Judy Greer as Laurie’s daughter Karen. Andi Matichak will come back at Laurie’s granddaughter Allyson. Anthony Michael Halls joins, as well as Kyle Richards. Halloween Kills will hit theaters on October 16th of this year.
