[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14179″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Luke Cage may have been a casualty of Netflix’s cancellation spree, but star Mike Colter is gearing up for Black and Blue, a cop thriller that will star Naomie Harris as a rookie police officer in New Orleans who witnesses a murder by corrupt lawmen. Joining Colter are Frank Grillo, Reid Scott, Beau Knapp, and Tyrese Gibson.
While it’s sad to have seen the cancellation of a show as popular as Luke Cage, it’s good to see Colter and others from the show moving on. Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker recently signed a deal with Amazon so we should be expecting to see great original content on Prime – hopefully, other Luke Cage cast members will join.
