For Anomalous Comics

I live in a world that the only two properties that are most important and most talked about are Dc comics and Marvel comics and there is nothing wrong with that, but many people miss out on other great stories. Mind Things of Dirty Zombie is one of those great comedic stories. The basic premise is that Elvis the Zombie is searching for his soul so that he can gain superpowers from a genie named Raji.

“Fuck Powers… I got to find my soul.” – Elvis the Zombie

While reading Mind Things of a Dirty Zombie I get Deadpool vibes, which is not a bad thing, it actually makes the character feel fresh. Elvis is loveable but yet hilariously annoying much like Deadpool especially the perverted nature of his. In some comic books, somethings do not flow together but in the comic, everything is in perfect sync, the comedic elements and lettering match the artistic look, which makes this comic beautifully written and visually stunning. To be honest I would love to see this as a mini-series.

“You do have a soul buddy. Everything on earth does. You’re a good guy. Just keep in mind… Don’t let others opinions of your own about yourself.” – Elvis

If you are looking for something fresh I highly recommend Mind Things of a Dirty Zombie it is filled with a lot of laughs great art and an amazing main character.
