During The One Piece Day 2023 event it was announced that Eiichiro Oda one shot manga; Monsters: Ippaku Sanjō Hiryū Jigoku is becoming an anime. It was also announced that the director of Jujutsu Kaisen film and the series, Sunghoo Park will be the director of Monsters and it will be under his new production studio, studio E&H Production. It will be only one episode long.

Monsters: Ippaku Sanjō Hiryū Jigoku was in weekly Shonen Jump back in 1994 and was published by Shueisha back in 1998. I’ll be honest this is the first I heard of this one-shot manga but best believe I will be looking for it and reading it before it releases.

For those that do not know who Eiichiro Oda is he is the master that is currently creating the ever lasting manga/anime One Piece. One Piece is one of the biggest manga of all time and some can make an argument that it is the biggest manga of all time with over 500 million copies sold worldwide being second to Superman! And it’s also getting a live action One Piece series on Netflix. So if anything Monsters is something to keep a look out for.
