There were also reports that Jonah Hill was in talks to play either the Penguin or the Riddler. It might be frustrating for fans to have to wait, considering we live in the digital era and we’re used to getting every bit of information right now.
Reeves has a lot of pressure on him. There’s some skepticism around Pattinson being cast as Batman and considering the group of fans who are still upset at the fallout of Zack Snyder’s involvement in the DC Universe, as well as Ben Affleck’s departure; it makes sense why Reeves would approach this situation cautiously. There will be a slew of villains in Reeves’ movies, as well as an appearance from Nightwing in one of his films, according to Forbes. In case you didn’t know, Reeves is setting up a trilogy.
