MTV Bringing Back ‘Clone High’ By Re-Imagining The Show for a ‘New Generation’

There are some animated series that I used to watch as a teen and enjoyed, but have somehow forgotten. That is until that series is mentioned and I remember how much I enjoyed viewing it. This is the case with Clone High. Created by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, this short-lived animated series consisted of thirteen episodes. Even it was only one season, clearly, enough people were fans because MTV is bringing it back!

According to Nerdist, MTV will re-imagine the show for a new generation. Lord, Miller, and Lawrence will return for Clone High, which in its original run satirized real-life historical figures and the teenage “coming of age” cliche in the show. Teenage JFK, Abraham Lincoln, Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, and Gandhi will come back!

Erica Rivinoja will serve as showrunner. ViacomCBS President of Entertainment and Youth Group Chris McCarthy stated:

“We’re thrilled to reunite with Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Bill Lawrence to re-imagine this cult classic as we rapidly grow our portfolio of beloved and iconic adult animation series.”

Who else is excited for a new season of Clone High?
