My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising will be the second film after My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, which was a huge hit in North America with $5,754,556 domestic passing the previous number ten spot The Wind Rises which made $5,209,580 domestic. Since then My Hero Academia has been growing in popularity in the US with the newest season, which you can check out on Funimation. Today we got a new trailer and along with that trailer, we have a North America release date of February 26, 2020
Movie Synopsis
The number one hero anime is back in theaters for a battle beyond anything fans have ever seen!
Class 1-A visits Nabu Island where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it’s more like a vacation … until they’re attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk! His power is eerily familiar, and it looks like Shigaraki had a hand in the plan. But with All Might retired and citizens’ lives on the line, there’s no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generation of heroes, and they’re the island’s only hope.
My Thoughts
February has been a great month for me with Sonic, Birds of Prey, the upcoming Star Wars The Clone Wars and now a second My Hero Academia film releasing in less than two weeks, I am ready!
